This site was created and is maintained by the descendants and loved ones of Rev. O.L. Holliday – pastor, father, businessman, and community leader.  It is an eclectic compilation with no particular purpose other than for a new generation to feel his love and passion for Christ and to get a flavor of black churches and teachings in the 60′s.

This site, Heavenly Home Gathering, was named after one of Rev. Holliday’s most popular albums and after an annual family reunion called the Home Gathering or Home Coming.

Rev. Holliday did not live a perfect life but he lived a Godly one, touching the spirit of everyone he met.  This site is about remembrance and spiritual reflection to get us through tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, and until the day that we come face to face with our ancestors and loved ones at the heavenly home gathering above – it is about the spiritual importance of family.

Have your spirit lifted today by listening to his sermons.  More sermons will be added as we continue the process of locating and digitizing more of his sermons from reel-to-reels, 8-tracks, cassettes, and vinyl records.

We have made several of Rev. Holliday’s sermons available for download at a nominal cost for your home collection or you can  listen to some of the sermons on the jukebox.  We have also made available a compilation of his sermons for purchase: The Classic Sermon Collection.  Proceeds are used to assist Rev. Holliday’s descendants make the trek to Houston, Texas once a year for the annual Home Gathering event started by Rev. Holliday almost forty years ago.
